I think about old family recipes and techniques that are rarely shared…
I think about corn bread that makes you smile inside…
I think about backyard cookouts with the neighbors and church suppers…
But most of all… in the South, good food isn’t judged by the credentials of the chef, but the integrity of the cook!
Because in the South more than anywhere, “passion matters.”
Just watch one of the BBQ competitions on social media or in any back yard. The food has soul and the cooks have passion.
